  Today I enjoyed reading your captions while out and about. It adds a lot of value to the content and you keep them up long enough to actually read. I also found myself trying to translate Kyuho and his mom talking in Korean to see if I could keep up. They really speak fast but I could see that Sarah was on top of their conversations. 🙌

  Sarah, 이거 본다면 이상한 질문 하나 할게요. 예전에 댓글 달았는데 당신 옷 진짜 좋아해요. 캡슐 옷장, 깔끔한 라인, 딱 떨어지는 재단, 미니멀한 스타일이요. 특히 패킹하고 여름 휴가 룩이 좋고요. 근데 이 영상 보니까 서울에서 입으신 반바지, 스파게티 끈 나시가 눈에 들어왔어요. 저는 2023년에 한 번 서울에 있었는데 여름 말~가을 초에 왔고 외국인이 저 혼자인 동네에 살았거든요. 어깨랑 다리를 드러내는 게 불편했어요 (저는 트임 있는 긴 치마를 입었거든요). 이미 하루종일 시선을 받는데 그 위에 (그들 입장에서는) 벌거숭이처럼 보이기 싫었거든요. 한여름에 습하고 더웠지만요. 근데 이건 3년 전 얘기고요. 변했나요? 더 많은 여성들이 반바지랑 탱크탑을 입나요, 아니면 여전히 외국인들이 주로 입나요? 당연히 판매하고는 있네요 (다행!) 1년쯤 후에 다시 갈 계획이라 (정말 기대돼요), 실질적인 이유로도 궁금해서요 😊

  Sarah, if you see this i have a dumb question. Ive commented before that I LOVE your clothes. The capsule wardrobe, the clean lines and tailored cuts, the minimalisim. Especially your packing and summer vacation looks. But this video drew my attention to the shorts and spaghetti straps you wear while in Seoul. I lived there temporarily in 2023. I arrived end of summer / start of fall and was in a neighborhood with no foreigners but me. And I felt uncomfortable showing my shoulders and legs (I wore long skirts with a split) because literally nobody else was, even though it was boiling and humid. I was already stared at all day, I didnt want to be naked (to them) on top of it. But that was three years ago. Has that changed? Are more women wearing shorts and tanks, or is it still mostly a foreigner thing? I mean, obviously they are selling them (yay!) Im planning on returning in a year or so (very excited), so im asking for practical reasons as well 😊

  저는 캐나다의 Tim Horton's를 완전히 끊었어요. 제가 캐나다에 온 이후로 커피도, 음식도 다 맛이 떨어졌거든요. 원래 캐나다 회사도 아니고 국제 투자자들이 운영하는 거더라고요. 근데 한국에 Tim Horton's가 생겼다는 게 충격이었어요. 한국은 훌륭한 카페가 많으니까요. 한국의 Tim Horton's는 경쟁이 심해서 더 나을 수밖에 없을 것 같아요. 캐나다는 한국처럼 경쟁이 심하지 않거든요. 한국 친구들이 자기네가 다니는 카페 사진을 보여줘요. 한국에서 원두도 가져왔는데 정말 인상적이었어요. 그 친구들도 프랑스, 이탈리아를 여행했는데 한국의 그 카페들이 그 나라들과 비교할 만하대요. 나중에 다시 한국을 가게 되면 Tim's도 한 번 시도해볼 생각 있지만 캐나다에서는 피해서 다니고 있어요. 디저트가 지나치게 달고 예전처럼 직접 만드는 게 아니거든요. 커피도 맛이 떨어졌어요 (원래 더 좋던 커피를 맥도날드에 팔아버렸어요). 제 개인적인 주요 이슈는 5년 전부터 카페인 때문에 심장이 떨려서 디카페로 바꿨거든요. 아시아에서는 디카페를 구하기가 거의 불가능하던데, 있더라도 좋은 게 없더라고요.

  I stopped going to Tim Horton's in Canada altogether. Their coffee went downhill along with their food since I arrived to Canada. It isn't even really Canadian as it is controlled by interntional investors not Canadians. I was shocked they actually opened one in Korea because Korea has many great coffee spots. The Tim Horton's in Korea would have to be better because of fierce competition. We do not have the same fierce competition in Canada like Korea. My Korean friends show me pics of coffee spots they go around in Korea. They even brought some of the coffee beans over and I was quite impressed. These friends also travelled to France and Italy and told me these spots in Korea were comparable to there. If I manage to go to Korea again in the future I would be up to trying Tim's but in Canada I avoid it like the plague. Desserts are painstakingly sweet and not made on sight like it once was. Coffee went downhill (they sold their original (better) coffee to McDonalds). The only main issue I personally have is I switched to decaf over 5 years ago as regular was giving me heart palpitations. I know in Asia it is nearly impossible to find decaf or at least a good one if that.

  저 비 내리는 거 생각나는군요. 저희가 청와대 근처를 방문했을 때였는데 그때도 저렇게 퍼붓더라고요. 우리는 레인판초는 있었는데 우산은 없었어요. 당신이랑 다르게 양말이 다 젖었어요 ㅋㅋ 거리에 물이 이렇게 흐르는 동안을 지나가는 건 진짜 거의 작은 시냇물 같더라고요. 진짜 미쳤어요. 그런데 좋은 얘기 거리는 되긴 했어요 ㅋㅋ 그 폭우는 장난 아니야요!

  That rain shower reminded me of the day we visited the Blue House, or around that area, and it poured like that. We had ponchos, but no umbrellas. Our socks got soaked unlike yours lolol. It was like we were stepping through a small stream there was so much water running around everywhere in the streets. Was pretty wild TBH. Those downpours are no joke! Makes for a good story though haha

  이렇게 말씀드리는 거 죄송하지만, 냅킨이나 종이에 고양이 밥을 담아주는 게 인도나 땅에 바로 놔두는 것보다 고양이한테 더 안전하고 위생적이지 않을까요? 물어보는 거예요. 저도 고양이 집에 있거든요.

  Pardon me for saying this, but wouldn't it be safer and cleaner for the cat if you can put her food on a piece of paper or napkin instead of just putting her food on the pavement or on the ground? Just asking. I also have a cat in the house.

  Tim Horton's 팬은 아니지만, 블루베리 머핀은 진짜 소화 잘 안 된다는 데 동의해요. 베이킹파우더를 많이 써서 그런 것 같아요. 베이킹파우더가 많이 들어가면 배를 자극하거든요.

  I am not really a Tim Horton's fan, but I agree that blueberry muffing is a gut bomb. I think they might use large amounts of baking powder, which does tend to irritate your stomach.

  Sarah. FROM이라는 시리즈가 있는데 정말 좋아요 (LOST처럼 분위기 있고 Twin Peaks 같은). 마지막 시즌이 곧 노바스코샤에서 촬영될 예정이래요. 한 번 조사해보고 혹시 세트장에 가볼 수 있지 않을까 싶어요?

  Sara. There is a great series called FROM (similar to LOST in vibe, and Twin Peaks). Final season will begin filming shortly in Nova Scotia. Maybe worth investigating and maybe possible to somehow go to the set?
