  이특 사건은 정말 비극적이고, 지난 10년간 자기 매니저와 SM을 포함해서 자신을 대한 사람들의 무정함과 공감 부족에 대해 계속 말해왔다. 그가 겪은 고통과 엄청난 압박감을 생각해보면… 희철이가 많이 말했는데 이특이 좀 더 솔직해져야 하고 계속 강한 척하면 안 된다고. 혹시 이특이 필요하면 자기가 옆에 있을 거라고.

  Leeteuk´s case is so tragic, he has opened up during the last 10 years about it, the lack of humanity and empathy people had for him starting from his own manager and SM is horrendous. Imagine the pain and the huge pressure he must had, Heechul has said lot of times that he truly needs to open up more and stop pretending being strong cause if Leeteuk needed, Heechul was going to be there for him

  Military service is different for everyone, RM has been open & honest in talking how he did not enjoy certain aspects of it, finding it difficult and mentally challenging. Its a big adjustment & change to their life & normal routine as they know it so that can be difficult for some to adjust to but it still can be a valuable experience for many & for Namjoon will only make him more stronger & he can gain a new perspective & positive outlook on life moving forward ♥️

  I got the impression that a lot of these people had mental problems from the begining, probabbly from the demanding life of being an idol and fame, and the military just worsened them. The other thing is that it seems the korean military does not implement proper measures for famous people to have a good service. You cannot expect them to be one more soldier while being harassed 24/7.

  한국의 괴롭힘이 정말 심하다고 들었는데 케이드라마 같은 데서 본 행동이 사실은 축약된 거라고 한다. 그 정도의 환경에 젊은 남자들을 강제로 24시간 집어넣어 봐라. 적어도 학교나 직장 환경이면 하루를 마치고 집에 가서 쉴 수 있잖아. 정말 열받고 혐오스러운 행동인데 모두가 받아들일 수 없다고 생각해야 한다. 그들은 물건이 아니라 인간이다.

  I’ve heard that bullying in Korea is a real thing and that behavior we see portrayed in K Dramas, etc is actually downplayed. Now, take that type of environment and force young men to be surrounded by it 24/7. At least in a school or work environment you can go home at the end of the day for reprieve. It’s infuriating and despicable behavior that everyone should consider unacceptable. They’re fellow human beings not objects.

  실제로 군대는 유명인뿐 아니라 모두의 인생을 바꾼다. 치매 할머니를 돌보던 한국 남자가 군대에 끌려가서 할머니가 몇 개월간 혼자 집에 남겨진 사건이 있었다. 그 남자는 휴가 때마다 나와서 할머니를 돌보기 위해 건설 현장에서 일했다. 또 다른 경우로 미성년인 어린 형제의 유일한 보호자인데도 입대해야 했던 남자도 있다. 그 형제는 고아원 입소를 앞두고 있었는데 그 사건을 본 변호사들이 도와줘서 그 남자가 병역면제를 받았다. 군대에서 정말 심각한 문제들을 겪는 일반인들도 있고, 입대 제도는 그들이 원하는 만큼 공정하지 않다. 반면 싸이, T.O.P, 송민호 같은 유명인들은 연예인 신분 때문에 거의 제때 복무하지 않았으면서도 계속 불평을 한다.

  It actually changes everyone's lives, not just celebrities. There was a story of a Korean man who was caring for his grandma with dementia, but was dragged to the military, and his grandma was left alone at home for months. The man would come out on holidays and would work in construction sites to care for his grandma.. There was another story of a man who had to enlist even if he was the only guardian to his little underaged brother. His brother was about to be admitted to an orphanage, but some lawyers who saw the story helped the man out and he was exempt from the service. There are actual civilians who face so much "real" issues in the military, and the enlistment system is not as fair as they want it to be. Celebrities like PSY, TOP, and Song Min-ho on the other hand barely showed up to their services, because of their celebrity status, and they still complain...

  그러니까 태민이와 알엠 둘 다 군악대에서 선임들에게 혼났던 거네. 앞으로 아이돌들은 선배 아이돌들과 상의해서 자기 배치를 조심스럽게 선택해야 할 것 같다. 알엠이 있던 화천 부대는 가장 오래되고 덜 발전된 컨테이너 같은 숙소였다. 다른 개발된 부대처럼 곧 다시 정비될 거다.

  군대는 개인을 탈인격화해서 일벌들처럼 팀 단위로 일하게 만들기 위해 설계된 거다. 이건 특히 알엠 같이 높은 지능, 리더십을 가진 사람들의 본능에 정반대로 간다. 그는 많이 혼났다고 했는데 아마도 주도성을 발휘했기 때문일 거다. 그게 강조되지 않기 때문에 말이다. 완전히 로봇 같은 삶으로 축소됐던 거다. 결코 영원하진 않고 형들과 시간을 보내는 게 치유에 도움이 될 거지만 상처는 아마 남을 거다.

  The military is designed to depersonalize individuals in order to make them work as a team, like worker bees. This goes against every instinct especially in people like RM high IQ, a leader, he was reduced to the life of a drone. He said he was scolded a lot, I assune because he took initiative when that is discouraged. It's not forever spending time with his brothers will help him heal but the scars will likely remain.

  한국 정부는 지금 당장이라도 군 복무법을 대대적으로 개편하거나 아예 폐지해야 한다. 아니면 일부 연예인들이 계속 정신적으로 고생하고 심지어 생명을 잃을 수도 있다. 정신 건강 도움도 필요하지만 무엇보다 많은 사랑과 지지가 필요하다. 가장 중요한 건 사생활 보호 법규다. 10:53 좋든 싫든 이들은 인간이고 국제 케이팝 팬으로서 한국 정부가 이 한 가지 일을 제대로 못 하고 있다는 걸 계속 듣는 게 진짜 환멸난다. 유명인이든 무명인이든 국민의 안전과 복지를 지켜야 하는데 특히 유명인들은 더 그래야 한다. 그런데 이들 남자 케이팝 연예인들의 생명을 위협하는 스토킹 팬들(사실상 스토커)에 대해 더 엄격한 법을 적용해야 한다. 이런 스토커들을 체포해서 감옥에 보내거나 케이팝 콘서트나 팬사인회 참석을 금지하든지. 이제 그만이다.

  이 모든 게 정말 가슴 아프다! (태민이와 지드래곤은 알았지만 알엠은 몰랐다 😢) 오래된 슈퍼주니어 팬인 ELF로서 이특이 더 힘들었다고는 말 안 하겠지만 정말…… 저 사람은 정신이 있다. 이미 다친 몸으로도 입대했는데 그 다음에 정신 건강 문제까지, 그리고 복무 중에 매우 공개적이었던 비극적인 사건으로 가족 3명을 잃었고, 그 다음 또 다시 입대했다…… 내 마음은 항상 그가 안쓰럽다. 정말 강한 남자인데 의심의 여지 없이 여전히 고통받겠지만 요즘은 좀 더 솔직해진 것 같다. 훌륭한 리더고 군에 종사한 모든 분들과 고통받는 모든 분들에게 내 마음이 간다. 💙💔 이 주제에 더 많은 관심이 쏟아져야 한다. 아마도 신병들의 정신 상태와 전반적 건강, 그리고 사생활을 중심으로 한 변화가 필요할 것 같다.

( I knew about Taemin , and G Dragon, but not about RM 😢 ) Being an ELF a long time fan of Super Junior, I am not saying Leeteuk had it worse, but man……..he has strength and perseverance. He had been injured prior but still went in, then to have mental issues, THEN lose 3 family members while serving his country in a very tragic event made very public, then going right back in …….my heart always breaks for him still. He is a VERY STRONG MAN , who no doubt still suffers but as of lately is more open about it..He is a great leader and my heart goes out to ALL that serve and suffer. 💙💔 More attention should be given to this subject. And perhaps changes, focusing on recruits mental status and overall health. Privacy too.

  슈가가 현역군인으로 입대했으면 정신 건강이 얼마나 악화됐을지 정말 걱정했는데 어깨 부상 때문에 사회복무요원으로 배치되어서 다행이었다. 이특은 과거 부상으로부터 정말 많이 고생했고 자기 아버지 때문에도 고생했다. 알엠은 군악대를 선택했는데 비무장지대에 가까운 곳으로 배치되어서 생활 환경이 정말 형편없었다. 지민이와 정국이는 버디 시스템으로 입대했으니까 둘 다 비무장지대 근처로 갔지만 서로 있어서 잘 견뎌낸 것 같다. 태민이는 입대 전부터 정신 상태가 안 좋았으니까 처음부터 사회복무요원으로 배치했어야 했다.

  I was so worried about Yoongi's mental health had he gone in as an active duty soldier but his shoulder injury meant that he was sent to do public service. Poor Leeteuk suffered so much from his previous injuries and his father's actions. RM had chosen the band only to find that he was sent to a place on the border which had awful living conditions. By choosing to go in under the buddy system Jimin and Junkook were also sent to the border but it seems like they got each other through it. Taemin was in such a state before going in that he should've been placed into public service from the beginning.

  태민이 정말 안쓰럽다. 그가 많이 힘들어했다는 걸 알았지만 또 이렇게 듣니까 더 그 고통이 느껴진다. 다른 아이돌들이 겪은 일들도 정말 안타깝다. 그들 모두 군 복무 시간을 뒤로하고 나아가기를 바란다.

  사람들을 위계와 노예제 체계에 기반한 '군대'라는 시스템으로 강제 입대시키는 건 진짜 미치게 어리석은 개념이다. 군대 시스템은 변해야 해. 인간 존엄성을 짓밟는 데다 무례하다.

  한국 정부가 똑똑했으면 미국에 문의해서 유명한 연예인, 배우, 무용수, 뮤지션, 운동선수 등이 미군 기지에서 복무하게 할 수 있는지 물어봤을 텐데. 거기선 거의 아무도 그들이 누구인지 모르고 상관도 안 한다.

  If the Korean government was smart they would ask the US if their high profile enlistees (singer, actors, dancers, musicians, athletes, etc.) could go to a US military base for their service. Almost no one knows who they are and don't care.

  그래서 미군은 자원 입대 제도다. 모든 사람이 군 복무에 적합한 건 아니니까. 내 아버지와 남편은 군 경력자였다. 아이돌 훈련받는 것과는 완전히 다르다. 어떤 사람한테는 군 복무가 외상적인 경험일 수 있다.

  This is why the US military is all volunteer. Not everyone is cut out for military service. My father and my husband were career military. It is very different from what idols go through in training. I imagine for some, military service is traumatic.

  현재 복무 기간은 1년 6개월이지만 20년 전에는 거의 24개월을 복무해야 했었다. 이건 모두에게 의무인데 군대에서 가르치는 게 살상 기술 포함해서 정말 다 가르친다…… 가장 힘든 훈련은 행군인데 총 30kg의 무게를 짊어지고 2~3일 안에 100km를 달려야 한다. 특수부대는 매달 200km를 행군해야 한다…… 한국 남자들의 군대 훈련과 생활의 스트레스는 케이팝 연습생들이 회사에서 받는 것보다 훨씬 더 심하다.

  지드래곤 포함시켜줘서 감사해. 복무 후 그의 신체 행동 표현이 정말…… 계속 깜짝깜짝 놀라고 몸을 날리고 이유 없이 그냥 멈춰 서고 - 내 생각엔 많이 맞았을 것 같은데 아마도 머리나 어깨가 자주 맞았을 거다. 단순히 너무 거칠게 취급받았을 가능성도 있고. 확실히 거기서 어깨 부상을 입었어. 아마 톱이 나왔던 Mnet 다큐와 그의 성적 지향에 대한 걸 생각하면…… 어쩌면 (특히 동성애자인 그에게) 성적인 문제가 있었을 수도 있다는 생각이 든다 💔. 지드래곤의 행동이 PTSD를 외치고 있는 거다 💔💔💔 지금(2025년 12월) 그가 좀 나아진 것 같아서 정말 다행이지만 더 성숙한 킹으로 돌아왔다! 파이팅!!!

  Thank you for including GD. His physical behaviour afterwards, the constant flinching, ducking and weaving and just stopping walking for no reason - i think he was hit alot, possibly on the head or shoulders. Its possible he was just manhandled too much. He definitely did a shoulder injury while there. And i hate to imagine if anything s3xual happened to him as a possible gay man (esp after Mnet’s documentary about him and TOP 💔 & all the nyongtory obvious signs). GDs behaviour afterwards screams PTSD 💔💔💔 Im just glad that now, December 2025, he seems to be back, but as a more mature King 👑! Fighting!!!
